Fudo Waterfall
This waterfall flows into the Tenno-kawa River and can be viewed from the opposite bank of Prefectural Road 53. Legend has it that upstream in the valley, there is a natural stone in the shape of a Buddhist statue carved by Kobo Daishi in a cave, which local people named "Ofudo-san" with respect, and the waterfall itself came to be called "Fudo Waterfalls," too. It is said that in the past, people on their pilgrimage from Mount Koya to Mount Omine would stop and pay their respects here. There is a sign along the prefectural road indicating Fudo Waterfall.
