Parking Lot Information
The Dorogawa area is a tourist destination with sightseeing spots scattered throughout the village. Public and private pay parking lots are located throughout the village. You can reach each sightseeing spot within 15 to 20 minutes from any of the parking lots. Enjoy walking around the village after parking your car.
*Traffic congestion often occurs on weekends and consecutive holidays during the tourist season (May-November) due to a particularly high volume of private car traffic. Please be careful of traffic accidents and problems.
Parking Lots in the Dorogawa Area
- 01 Dorogawa Hot Spring Parking Lot (¥300 per hour, max ¥3,000 per day) When the parking lot is full, traffic guides will come out to the prefectural road and ask you to proceed to the back of the lot. In that case, please proceed to another parking lot.
- 02 Miyasoi Open only during the tourist season.

Parking in Mitarai Valley during the tourist season
When you search for “Mitarai Valley” on your car navigation system, you may be guided to the area near the Mitarai Valley Rest Area. However, there is no parking lot for visitors within Mitarai Valley.
There is only a few toll parking lots near the Mitarai Valley Rest Area that can accommodate only about 20 vehicles, thus, the lot often fills up quickly.
The road leading to the valley (National Route 309) is narrow, with only enough room for one vehicle to pass through, therefore, during the tourist season, heavy traffic congestion often occurs.
To avoid traffic congestion, please use the following parking lots depending on the situation.

- 04 Mitarai Priority parking for store customers. Please inquire at the site.
