Mitarai Waterfalls is a breathtaking scenic spot in Mitarai Valley. The view of the waterfall from the suspension bridge is truly spectacular. To see Mitarai Waterfall, it is recommended to take the Mitarai hiking Trail. If you are traveling by car, please note that the road width of National Route 309 is very narrow, and parking spaces are limited. Enjoy a refreshing walk along the riverside and through the forest on the approximately 2.5-hour walking trail. Due to heavy crowds on weekends and holidays during the summer and autumn foliage seasons, visiting on weekdays is recommended.
