Tenkawa Village Museum / Gallery Honobono

The museum exhibits the history of daily tools used by residents of the Dogawa district, including tools for mountain work, bent shovels, rice scoops, sake barrel crafting tools, and more. It also showcases various materials depicting the practices of mountain faith and displays a U.S. military B29 bomber engine retrieved from Mount Omine. The gallery Honobono at the entrance is freely accessible, hosting various special exhibitions during its opening period. There is also a place called "Shakyo-an Honobono" where visitors can try Buddhist sutra copying with a calligraphy brush. Spend some tranquil moments in this serene atmosphere.
