When visiting Dorogawa Hot Spring area by car,
be sure to add “Kawai District, Tenkawa Village” as a relay point.
Some car navigation system route settings show a route over Kominami Pass via Pref. Road #48 Dorogawa Shimoichi Line and Nakato in Kurotaki Village. However, the road is very narrow and rough, and there are many places where navigating oncoming traffic is difficult.

Take Route 169 and Route 309 via Kashihara Bypass on the Keinawa Expressway to Tenkawa Village (about 2 hours from Nara City to Kawai, Tenkawa Village)

From Kintetsu Abeno Station [JR Tennoji Station] to Shimoichiguchi Station by Kintetsu Limited Express (bound for Yoshino): approx. 1 hour

Take Route 169 and Route 309 via Takada Bypass on Minami Hanna Expressway to Tenkawa Village (about 2 to 2.5 hours from Osaka to Kawai, Tenkawa Village)
By public transportation
From Kintetsu Abeno Station [JR Tennoji Station] to Shimoichiguchi Station by Kintetsu Limited Express (bound for Yoshino): approx. 1 hour
Take the Nara Kotsu Bus from Shimoichiguchi Station to Tenkawa Village.
From Tokyo
About 3.5 hours from Nagoya West Interchange to Kawai, Tenkawa Village.
